Of course Joe and Andy beat me to this one since they've already reviewed Effin Effigy, but this is not gonna keep me from reviewing it myself (lol). So, Effin Effigy is a indie brand; is the creation of two lovely ladies, Mary and Lindsey, who are responsible for all stages of production (so you know who to blame). Their designs are kind of cool, laid back, summery, easy going type of designs (if that makes any sense), but what really appeals to me is the level of craftsmanship. These two girls experiment with different fabrics, materials, and inks, plus they love to play with the placement. You might not notice it right away (the photos are quite small), but you'll soon realize that these shirts carry sewn fabrics, buttons, and metallic grommets, and you'll be surprised to discover prints in the most unexpected places (like the the back of a jacket's collar). This is, to my opinion, a more personal approach and something you'll not find in a t-shirt megastore.
