It looks like the air of change blows through Threadless lately. A couple of days ago, they announced some really interesting news, with the annual Threadless Awards being the most important of all. The annual Threadless Awards will start from this current year and the the winners will probably be announced in January or February of 2008. There are going to be around 10-20 categories like "Most Groundbreaking Design", "Best Gallery Photo", "Most Dedicated Blogger" etc. What I think is very important in these awards event is that Threadless gives back to its community. Threadless has an huge and vivid community consisted not only by street teamers but also bloggers, voters, and commentators who take part in this whole process and help the site grow. To all these people along, of course, with artists they are going to award the amount of $100.000! The second big thing from Threadless is the "Thriftee". The "Thriftee" is simply one randomly selected t-shirt in one specific size that will be available for only 10$. If you want to get this t-shirt you have to be fast because there's going to be just one and when is gone it will be replaced by a new randomly selected design and so on. That sounds great, doesn't it?
