OK, I know I'm probably the last blogger around to write about P is for Panda but, what the hell, I'll do it anyway since I really like that place! So what's the deal with that store? To start off, let me tell you about their business plan; according to Atlanta based owner, Chad Pearson, 1/3 of the profit goes to the artists (it's artist submission based) while another 1/3 goes to a charity of the artist's choice. Also, they don't give any money to advertising, but count on the word of mouth (and maybe on a future street team?). So what about the designs? Judging by the name, you would think that the designs are all for pandas and to some extend they are, except the one that is my favorite. I'm talking of course about the Mark Penxa t-shirt designed by artist Mark Penxa and which runs very limited (36 t-shirts prints only!). As P is for Panda is an artist submission based store, the designs vary and it's hard to distinguish a specific style, but what you can surely say about them is that they target the people who respect the wild life and generally the environment.
