At DoubleHelix, we create a non-conventional way to teach science, promising you don’t need years of schooling or advanced degrees to think that science is both fun and interesting to understand. Our modern and minimalistic designs offer smart and quirky t-shirts that will capture the attention of the average person while getting a nod of approval from any Science geek.
Take our “H1N1” design, for example. During the 2008-2009 H1N1 outbreak when the media was blowing the entire story out of proportion, wex wanted a simple and creative way to tell the world that the “pig flu” was pretty much just the same as any other flu virus already out there. We chose a recognizable pac-man theme and came up with a way to illustrate that for the most part, a healthy immune system was all that was needed to combat the virus.
All of our shirts are made from 100% ring spun cotton and printed locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. We plan on offering hoodies and long-sleeves in the coming months as well. You can find our products exclusively online at http://www.doublehelixonline.com."
